While traveling abroad, I wanted to capture the ‘real’ Fiji. So many people (companies/tourists) post content depicting a Fiji full of resorts, luxury and relaxation. What the world doesn’t get to see is the raw beautiful culture of this developing country.

On days out exploring this poor but beautiful Island, I grabbed my camera and captured images of the culture and lifestyle of the locals. I got to see so many different walks of life; some that make me appreciate what I have. Nevertheless, I learnt that even though they don’t have much, the people of Fiji always have something to be grateful for and to smile about. I hope this encourages more people to explore ‘real’ places and environments of the world while still seeing the beauty of it all.
